EN Eventing Lesson Program Participants May 1st 2024 updates to payment and procedures:
Monthly Lesson Tuition Must be paid prior to the 1st of the month for the entire month with one lesson each week: Group: $50 each Private: $60 each Boarder Owned Horse Lessons: $50 group or private Leaser Lessons: Included in lease price
Non Tuition Based Lessons Must be paid prior to being scheduled Group and Private Lessons: $75
Lesson Guidelines All monthly tuition must be paid prior to the 1st of the month 24 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy Always plan to be mounted prior to lesson time For boarder owned horses, in instances of lameness found prior to start of scheduled lesson time, lesson may be rescheduled, work with Emily for options to reschedule If you need to reschedule a lesson, it must be done prior to the missed lesson (example - if going on vacation or sick, you must reschedule your lesson prior to the missed lesson date/time with greater than 24 hrs notice). All lessons must be used/made up within that same month

Lessons: Lessons are Half Hour private lesson or Hour semi-private lessons ·No Show/Cancel 24 hours or less prior to scheduled lesson time: cost of lesson Lessons are paid for at the beginning of each month and must be used within that month. We take your time seriously and considerable time goes into planning lessons, reserving horse and instructor time specifically for you, thus 24 hour notice is required for all lesson cancellations. There is no refund for lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. It is the responsibility of the rider to be tacked up and ready to ride at your assigned time. In the event our instructor cancels a lesson, a make-up lesson will be rescheduled at the earliest agreed upon ride time. There is a $5 late fee per lesson for any lesson not paid for at time of service. Thank you.
Any lessons paid for as a special package are to be used within 4 months of payment. Training rides on Owners Horse: ·$35 if owner available to prep and untack horse ·$40 if owner is not available to prep and untack horse
Coaching XC: ·Own or leased horse $50 ·Lesson Horse use fee if not leasing: $75
Horse Show Fees: Prices are based on at least 3 riders attending each competition. These prices may vary based on expenses and number of people attending show. Please confirm with Emily as to the cost of each individual show, this is just a guideline. If you commit to a show and do not attend, you are still responsible for the agreed upon fees associated. Trailering prices will vary based on number of horses attending, distance, and cost of fuel. Please confirm with Emily as to the cost of each individual destination prior to a show, this is just a guideline. Lodging for long distance competitions will be split between competitors. . Riders going XC schooling/competing a lesson horse will be required to share costs of shoes required to do so. See horse show manual provided by Emily for more information.
Coaching at shows: (horse use fee of $75/day if rider does not own or lease a horse) ·One day Shows: $75 per horse/rider ·Two day shows: $125 per horse/rider ·3 or more day shows: $150 per horse/rider ·Lesson Horse Use fee: $75/day
Trailering: (cost is per trip) Hunters Run: $50 ·Revel Run: $100 ·Honey Run: $100
Half and full Lease: (price includes lessons) ·Half lease: = 3 rides per week, one of which is a lesson, lesson included in price 1 year commitment= $530/month 6 month commitment= $580/month 1 month commitment= $630/month ·Full lease: = 6 rides per week, one of which is a lesson, lesson included in price 1 year commitment= $730/month 6 month commitment= $780/month 1 month commitment= $830/month Additional expenses include any showing costs incurred by those competing such as gear needed or any tack replacements, stud hole costs for XC schooling, ect….. Riders are required to provide their own daily supplies like saddle pads, fly spray, treats, ect…Any rider competing at a USEA event is required to provide their lease horse with a Chiropractic Adjustment prior to said event. *30 day notice is required for the termination of a lease. If rider misses scheduled rides it is up to them to make alternate arrangements prior to the missed ride or the rider waives his/her right to that ride for the week. *Missed lessons must be made up in the same month. *A $25 late fee is incurred for any lease that is paid past the monthly due date * A $50 late fee is incurred for any lease that is paid 15 days past the monthly due date.
Vet/Farrier Handling fees: ·$15 per occurrence of farrier or regular veterinary visit ·$20 for dental/vet visit
Additional Fees: ·Braiding for a horse show: $40 ·Clipping (based on type): $40-$200 (blades and clippers provided)
Horse Sale/Purchase/Eval: Fee varies, discuss with Emily.
